About Me

I have lived in Colchester, VT for all but a few years of my life. I graduated from Colchester High School in 1985, and my son graduated from CHS in 2013. I have been teaching at UMS in 2000 first as a substitute, then as a tutor, and now as the Title 1 teacher. Before that I taught both in Starksboro and Westford in the classroom in grades first-third.

I received a degree in Early Childhood with an endorsement in  Elementary Ed. from UVM in 1989, then a Master's in Education with a concentration in reading in 2007. My husband and I continue to live and work here in Colchester.

Things I love: Disney, traveling, kayaking, gardening, Maine, the Red Sox, photography, and READING! I love to share the joy of books with students.
